LIEPĀJA - PĀVILOSTA 41km
Enjoy the Kurzeme coastline in a completely different way - jump into on an adventure along the Green Railway from Liepāja to Pāvilosta.

This 41 km hiking and cycling route connects Liepāja, the European Capital of Culture 2027, with Pāvilosta - the summer capital of Latvia. It is a journey where history meets nature, and every step or pedal spin brings you closer to the true spirit of Kurzeme.
You can explore the route in both directions, adapting it to your own pace and plans. For your convenience, it is clearly marked with kilometre signs, direction markers, and information boards, with an audio guide available in three languages (LV, ENG, EST). As you travel, you can discover the surroundings through engaging historical stories and stories worthy of an anecdote from the route’s past.
Start your adventure in Liepāja at the intersection of Kapsēdes Street and the historic railway line, or in Pāvilosta at Simtgade Park, just a few steps from the historic railway station.
Nature, not so fare a sea, the breath of history, and the freedom of movement – all in one route.
